i am starting the thread to provide a place for everyone tell their reasons for hating the watchtower bible and tract society of new york, inc.. first off i want to say, i do not hate jehovah's witnesses.
i hate the wtbts; because, they kill people with their lunatic blood policy and destroy families with shunning.. my mother at age 48, was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
the tumor could have been removed with surgery; but, that would have required blood so it didn't happen.
The Bible says hate what is bad.
The WTBS have proven over their history that they encompass all that is bad when "man dominates man to his injury" through the "teachings" of this malignant ulcer on the underbelly of the Christian faith.
That is why I for one hate this organisation and much of what it stands for.

i was speaking to a family member who is still a jw in very good standing and she told me that last week she was told by an elder of very good repute in my old congregation this:-.
he has been told that any of the current governing body when they die will not be replaced!!!!!!!!!!.
i cannot even begin to take this in!.

Or conversely is it the latest ploy to make the R'n'F believe that the end is indeed near!!!
They have no more dates set for the near future for the end of the system so do they figure that if they say the GB are the last in line before the big "A" then all the JW's will be energised?

Sammielee.....Nice synopsis of life as a witness as it's nothing more than individual delusion. If you can't be true to yourself then who can you be true to?
As for Reniaa....You think we hate JW's?......Wrong again. I hate the entity of the organisation NOT the people in it. I believe there were once many and probably still a few in the GB who know that there are major flaws in the teachings but continue nonetheless.
They have to have the need to believe it as much as the R'n'F otherwise THEY would have to admit they are wasting their time.
But for the majority of JW's it does not even OCCUR to them that it's not the "truth" and if they did they would quickly banish such a notion out of the fear it generates.
I Smile when I see people I used to call friends ignore me, they are the ones who are in the wrong and deeply ,deeply misled.
I don't do this in a malicious way , sneering in hate, but rather in a pity.
Let me give you an example; I was driving down the street yesterday and my brother who's an elder comes toward me in the opposite direction
on his bike. He sees me coming and swerves into the next street accross my path to avoid me.....What sad ,childish, and ultimately hateful behaviour. And this is sanctioned by Jesus and the Bible?
What have I personally done to him? Nothing. What have I done to his "beloved organisation"? Said they are wrong and that I'm leaving them.
Sounds to me like the JW's themselves are the ones who are clinging to THEIR hatred and belief that we are all doomed. They NEED to in order to justify their bullying and antisocial behaviour.
If they are wrong and we are right? Well that would just be to horrible to accept wouldn't it?

what were some of the funniest things you heard a witness say he or she would like to do in the new word?.
the wife of the brother i studyed with said " in the new world im going to get a porpoise to teach me to swim.
of course i think a porpoise will have better things to do (like avoiding great whites) a than teach non swimmers to swim.. another sister some 20 years ago thought it best if she & her 2 small girls should have horse riding lessons to.
We will all have the time to get an education ,acquire the skills needed to construct, learn ancient hebrew, teach resurrected ones about the wts history , all courtesy of harnessing our new brain power(we only use 0.001% apparently). One brother said that when we're perfect we could possibly move objects with our mind......

i've been getting reports from paround the country that there have been multiple people, mostly young like in their 30s or 40s, who partook of the memorial emblems.
one person said that she saw 5 people in her congregation alone.
in my congregation 2 people partook - both of them in their 40s.

Perhaps one point for consideration is that the people who run this show are for the most part UNMARRIED and in many cases have never even had sex.
Now I'm not denegrating this position, it's their choice and I'm sure we're all aware that Jesus was in the same boat , but he was a perfectly balanced individual.
If the the Governing body were a parent or a surrogate looking to adopt they would have their record of treatment to those in their care examined and in the first case have their "children" taken into care and in the second instance be laughed out of town if they tried to adopt.
Look at their record.
Scream/ don't scream if you're being raped or you could/couldn't be DF'd
You find your husband in bed with another man or an animal you couldn't/ could eventually get a divorce.
You cannot do certain things in bed with your spouse.
You would be wrong to have children at certain armageddon "high alert" times such as the 70's.
You must only date " with a view to marriage" resulting in loads of young people getting married too young and to the wrong person and wrecking their lives.
The fairly recent change where young witnesses who are not baptised but dating other dubs, also not baptised ,being told they are both not "in the Lord" and therefore both must get baptised. This "locks them in" to the org. Very cynical.
These are only the ones I can think of from the top of my head, but does it show:-

B. They have the persons interests as their first priority?

A matter has been dealt with regarding Reniaa and she has demonstrated an insincere lack of non-un-repentance and as a result is no longer "in the Lord" but is still a baptised E-witness.

Titus 2;13 says "We are awaiting the revealing of the great GOD and saviour of us"
This is Jesus, even although the NWT tries to distort it to make it appear to be speaking of God AND Jesus.
Please get out your vine's expository and look up the word here rendered "revealing". It is" Epiphanea" in Greek and is only applied to the manifestation of Jesus presence at the last day.
If this verse is speaking of Jehovah ask yourself Reniaa when does Jehovah get revealed to man on earth? Never.
So it says that Jesus is Paul's God and saviour.
